You can find out whether our network covers your area by visiting our website and entering your postal code in the appropriate field and the system will present the coverage details. You may also contact us at 130 and one of our Call Centre agents will inform you whether our network is available in your area.

How can I become a Cablenet subscriber?

You can become a Cablenet subscriber by visiting one of our Customer Support Centers. The subscription process is as follows:

  • Complete the Service Provision Contract
  • €40.00 deposit payable by Cyprus residents (this amount is refundable upon termination of any subscription and return of any equipment in good condition)
  • €140.00 deposit payable by non-Cyprus residents (this amount is refundable with the cancellation of the subscription)
  • Approval for cable services is required from the user building’s administrator in case you are staying in a building.

Please note that in order for your telephone number to be transferred from another telecommunications provider to Cablenet, you will need to submit a copy of your last billing account.

How long does it take for the installation to take place?

Cablenet’s policy states that the activation of the service will be done within 30 working days of the presentation and collection of all necessary and/or requested documents, authorizations, consents and guarantees.

Do I have to sign a yearly contract?

The Service Provision Contract is valid for twelve (12) months from the day of the signing, unless otherwise specified in the Special Conditions. This Agreement is automatically renewed on expiry for a further period of twelve (12) months at a time, unless any of the Parties notifies the other party in writing at least thirty (30) days before the expiry date that the Agreement should not be renewed.

  • Direct Debit Order: Complete the necessary form at any Cablenet Store.
  • Automatic credit card payment: Complete the necessary form at any Cablenet Store.

CREDIT CARD

  • Payment through the new portal for Cablenet subscribers, Cablenet.me, upon activation of your personal account.
  • Payment through the pay.cablenet.me, for instant settlement of your account. (No access code is required)
  • Payment through the website www.jccsmart.com in the ‘Telephone and TV providers’ section.
  • Payment with credit card can be made at any Cablenet Store.

CASH

  • Payment at any Cablenet Store by presenting your Invoice.
  • Payment by presenting your Invoice at any branch of Bank of Cyprus, Hellenic Bank, Alpha Bank and any Cooperative Credit Institution.

NOTES:

Payments at Cablenet stores will incur an additional charge of €1,50.

Payments through banks and Cooperative Credit Institutions and payments through JCC Smart can take up to 5 business days for processing. Your bill is considered paid once the transaction amount is transferred to Cablenet’s bank account.

DELAYED PAYMENTS:

Τo avoid any inconvenience with your service, we recommend that you settle your balance on time. Failure to settle your account on time will result in termination of service. Please note that there is a charge for reconnecting the service (€5.00).

Do I have to sign a new contract if I wish to change my services?

You can make any change in your services just by calling 130 without signing any new Service Provision Contract.

Will there be any service reconnection fee in the event of failure to settle my account balance on time?

Cablenet recommends that you settle your balance on time to avoid any inconvenience with your service. Failure to settle your account will result in disconnection of service. Please be advised that there are charges for service reconnection (€5.00).
